The price of your tattoo will depend on the final size, detail and placement. When you enquire we will give you a quote and if you’re happy we will walk you through the next steps to get booked in.

- Moisturise and exfoliate the area getting tattooed in the week leading up to your appointment. - If you use sunbeds please avoid using them the week prior to your session. - Don’t work out the area you will be getting tattooed at the gym the day/night before. - Avoid drinking alcohol the night before and get a good night’s sleep. - On the day of your appointment please wear something comfortable that provides easy access to the area getting tattooed (e.g. shorts for a thigh tattoo) that you also don’t mind potentially getting ink stains on. - Have a substantial meal before and bring sugary snacks/drinks with you. - Do not use numbing cream without speaking to your artist first or you will be liable to lose your deposit. To book an appointment for any of our services all you need to do is email info@blackheartstudio.co.uk, send us a direct message on Instagram or stop by the studio where our shop manager Elisha will be happy to help. Piercing appointments, tooth gems and laser removal can also be booked over the phone.

Yes, please make sure you bring a valid physical form of photo I.D. with you to your appointment - we cannot accept pictures on your phone.

Whilst we can’t send you your design, we do offer viewings at the studio a day or two before your appointment if you let us know when booking in for your tattoo. These viewings are usually done at 10:30am or 6pm depending on the artist and are subject to availability.

Tattoos are cash only but piercings, tooth gems and laser removal can all be paid with cash or card.

No. It is illegal to tattoo anyone under the age of 18, even with parental consent.

To book a tattoo we require either a cash or PayPal deposit. Deposits are non-refundable and are liable to be lost under the following circumstances: - Being under the influence of drugs/alcohol in the 24 hours leading up to your appointment. - Using numbing cream on the day of your appointment without consulting your artist prior. - Completely changing the design on the day of your appointment. - Not showing up, cancelling or rescheduling with less than 3 working days before your appointment. Please note that our working days are Tuesday-Saturday NOT Monday-Friday.

We accept walk ins for both tattoos and piercings depending on what’s available on the day. We usually advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment but will always do our best to accommodate walks ins if we have the space to do so.

We are open on Tuesday-Saturday from 11:00-18:00 The last available piercing appointment is at 17:15.
